Mure Memorial is also linked with Baillieston St Andrew's Parish Church. Our minister is the Rev. Malcolm Cuthbertson and the Assistant Minister is the Rev. Alex Stuart. Also a warm welcome to Douglas Robertson who is our new Children, Youth and Families worker.

Soup and Sandwich Lunch

The Guild are holding their annual Soup and Sandwich lunch on Saturday, 13th February from 11:30 a.m. till 2 p.m. Tickets are priced at 4 per adult. There will be a Raffle, Bottle Stall and Home Baking Stall.

In addition, we are having Gloria's Fashions. Gloria has closed her shop and is selling off excess stock. All items are half price or less. Now is the time to grab a bargain. Payment by Credit/Debit card is available. Tickets may be purchased from any Guild member or pay at the door on the day. We hope that there will be a good attendance, so please come and support us.


Anniversary Concert

On Sunday, 14th February, Bill Russell will be celebrating the 42nd Anniversary of his appointment to his post as organist at Mure Memorial. He plans to mark this with an afternoon of music, including the very first voluntary which he played. The concert will start at 3 p.m. with afternoon tea at the interval.


Cabaret Night

The next fundraiser for the Mure Access Project is a Cabaret Night being held in Garrowhill Bowling Club on Saturday, 5th March. Entertainment will be provided by The Shades. If you enjoy the music of the 60s and The Shadows then this is for you. Further information and tickets - priced 5 - will be available shortly.  Please put this date in your diary.


90th Birthday Celebrations

There was a 90th birthday celebration lunch after church on Sunday, 29th November for Jean Russell, John Coutts and Jimmy Russell. An enjoyable time was had by all who attended.


142nd Mure Memorial Birthday Celebrations

On Sunday, 13th September, the congregation enjoyed a great lunch to celebrate our church being 142 years old. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to making this a great success. Some pictures are available here.


 Communion Dates

Just to remind you the dates for the Communion Services throughout the year are the second Sunday in September, December, March and June.
