Celebration of Malcolm's 30 Years as a Minister
Sunday, 29th June saw us all celebrate that our Minister, Rev. Malcolm Cuthbertson, reached the milestone of 30 years since he was ordained in the Church of Scotland. Following on from an excellent worship service we all enjoyed lunch and cake. Pictures are here.
Community Fun Day
A fabulous time was enjoyed by all who attended the Community Fun Day assisted by a glorious sunny day.
Everyone enjoyed the many varied stalls, entertainment and food available. The food and entertainment comprised bouncy castles, face painting, Beat the Goallie, Beat the Minister at Table Tennis (did anyone get a point!), twister, croquet, hoola hoops, tombola, pop corn, hot dogs, chocolate fountain, cup cakes and the excellent tea room and home baking from The Guild. In addition, the day ran smoothly thanks to the staff of WAS Events providing fun and games for all. We also enjoyed a visit from Mickey Mouse. Police Scotland officers also attended and joined in the fun.
The stalls on offer included the Choir, the Guild, the Boys' and Girls' Brigade, the Rainbows, candles, jewellery, skin care, massages, sweets and cards.
The Community Engagement team would like to thank everyone who contributed to a very successful and enjoyable day. Please click here to view some pictures.
New Communion Dates
The Kirk Session has decided that it would be better to spread our Communion Services throughout the year and have agreed to change the dates of future communions to the second Sunday in September, December, March and June. This will mean that the next Communion Service will be on Sunday, 14th September.
